'Stinky gutters with Guma Valley water pipes buried in it '
From the Awoko Newspaper 5/2/10:

The Kingtom Community, especially the Bolling Street gang way has over the week become a no-breathing zone as the drainages and the popular garbage dumping site (Bumeh) are producing a very acrid odour. According to Awoko investigation, the community and even beyond have been experiencing this ghastly whiff for couple of days now and it is gradually resulting to a serious health concern. Since inhabitants and concerned bodies cannot find a resolution to this unhealthy situation, the communities live with it with stoicism. One resident of this environment sadly stated that “we have been enduring this kind of unhealthy environment for some days now without a solution. We can’t really determine where this stench is coming from. But few days ago we saw some oil substance flowing in the drainage in front of my house. Some people are saying the stench is as a result of that substance that was running in our drainage. Up to this moment we cannot determine where this pungent smell can be located’’
